BackBeam accesses the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) as an authorized querying entity under HRSA entity authorization. NPDB data is subject to the confidentiality provisions of the Health Care Quality Improvement Act (HCQIA), 42 U.S.C. § 11137(b), which are separate from and in addition to this Privacy Policy. NPDB information is used solely for the credentialing purposes for which the query was authorized and is not disclosed to any party other than the client organization that enrolled the provider for monitoring.
BackBeam's website and services are directed exclusively at business organizations and their authorized representatives. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
